I pay my credit card bill manually to make sure there’s enough funds in my account, and for some reason the reminder text didn’t go through. Between that and some personal things I’ve been grappling with, I missed my payment by a day. I was worried it would incur a late fee, so after I paid I called Discover service and asked. The person on the other end (Todd) was so kind – she asked why I was late and I explained, and she said that due to the current circumstances she was more than happy to waive any late fees on my account.
