I was overpaid unemployment benefits in 2020 and received a letter saying I must pay it back in 36 installments through check or money order.
Ideally, I would like to pay it all at once preferably through a wire transfer.
I’ve tried to contact VEC, the Virginia Employment Commission, but their website has no option to pay and the phone number they gave me never answers and says their mailbox is full.
What options do I have to pay this off instead of having to mail a check every month for the next 3 years?
Whats stopping you from setting up the installment plan and then just sending one big check when you know where to send it?
