Hello [r/personalfinance](https://www.reddit.com/r/personalfinance/)
So im 16, i’m trying to send money internationally from my checkings account to my Serbian friend who is also a minor, 17.
western union is behind an ID wall, moneygram as well, i used my DMV issued ID for it as i saw someone said that should work, but it seems to want a driver’s license. Is there any other options to send and receive preferably directly without either of us of having ID? Would wiring bank to bank work also?
pls and thx

why?
Uh, this sounds sketchy. Do you know this person in real life?
I’m surprised they can tell the difference between a government ID and a driver’s license. Did you click a box saying “not a driver’s license” or did it discern that from the numbers you entered?
My local grocery store has a big western union sign hanging over the customer service desk. In fact it seems half the time I deal with the customer service desk I’m behind somebody using the Western Union service. Can you find a brick and mortar location?
Oh, and what u/Dcwiker05 said… before you send any money, have you physically met the serbian recipient of the money? (not email, not reddit, not facebook, not even zoom). And are your parents involved in this?
Sweet blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News.
Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo
News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem
to get there! Thank you
