from a purely financial perspective, is there a benefit of reporting the hiring a nanny/caretaker on your taxes?

I’m in the process of hiring a nanny for my son, and I’m rather surprised by the number of hoops, financially and otherwise, the state of MO makes you go through to properly hire one. it made me wonder if reporting a nanny job costs me additional money, and it costs the sitter money out of their paycheck, ethics and morality aside, is there a reason someone would report this?

just to clarify: I’m not asking if I should or should not break the law. I’m asking if there is some perk, like a credit that offsets my expenses of reporting this or something, that would incentivize an individual to report this all properly?
