Hi All,
I work as a sales consultant for a large company. I work full time and have a base salary + uncapped commissions. Prices everywhere are absurd because of inflation and the market certainly seems to indicate that asking for a raise is reasonable. When I float this idea around to some people at work the counter I get a lot is, “well we have uncapped commissions so…”
What are some good negotiating points to counter that argument? This would be a raise to my base salary only of course.
Thank you.
Everyone is hit by inflation-including your company. So it’s not the best approach to use in an uncapped commission job in my opinion. What have you done to earn a raise? Ex: Coaching/mentoring others, certifications, taken on additional responsibilities ex. Go into sales mode and sell yourself and your value to the organization.
Hey, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog site in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other
then that, excellent blog!
I do consider all the concepts you have presented to your post.
They are really convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are
very quick for beginners. Could you please lengthen them
a bit from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
